IGI are part of a consortium to produce a new Integrated Biostratigraphic & Lithostratigraphic Framework of Offshore Ireland

A consortium led by Merlin Energy Resources Ltd, with IGI Ltd as one of the partners, has secured a major contract from the Irish Petroleum Infrastructure Programme (PIP) to complete an integrated chronostratigraphic, biostratigraphic and lithostratigraphic framework study of Offshore Ireland.

IGI’s part in the study is to review the distribution and characteristics of all potential source rock intervals and to contribute to the construction of play fairway maps within the new stratigraphic framework.
