Our Philosphy
Enthusiasm for existing and novel interpretations of petroleum geochemistry, and particularly integrating this with geology and basin modelling, is what drives our company. We are committed to consolidating and updating our knowledge of all areas of organic geochemistry of use in the exploration for and production of oil and gas.
To this end IGI and its personnel:
- Subscribes to all geochemical and key petroleum geology & basin modelling journals
- Maintains a literature database and associated large paper files of publications and books
- Attends and contributes to conferences related to petroleum geology and geochemistry
- Publishes academic papers relating to advances in petroleum and other geochemistry
- Lectures for university programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels
- Subscribes with active membership to various professional bodies
- Co-operates with other consultants and clients on innovative integrated projects
- Prepares training courses ensuring leading edge understanding of latest issues
- Develops software pushing the frontiers of interpretation and testing new ideas
