Support and Maintenance

p:IGI customers invariably subscribe to our Support and Maintenance scheme, whereby they are able to obtain help and advice from expert users on IGI's staff either by telephone or e-mail. Expert advice is also available in the unlikely event that you encounter difficulties in installing p:IGI.

Subscription to p:IGI-3 Support and Maintenance also means that your company will receive every upgrade to p:IGI-3. Currently we typically release two upgrades per year (usually in or around January and July).


Annual p:IGI User Group Meeting

All p:IGI customers are invited to our annual User Group Meeting, held in September at our offices in North Devon. These 2-day meetings are very popular, and we have many regular attendees! The meeting allows users to contribute to the plans for future development of the software and to receive insights into various aspects of its use, including higher-level functionality that they may not have explored. Attendees have ample opportunity to discuss aspects of p:IGI with IGI's expert users and get solutions to any problems they may have encountered in using the software.


p:IGI FAQ and User Forum

We have put together an FAQ from commonly-asked or interesting questions from our users. This can be found within the p:IGI User Forum, and should continue to develop as new questions are asked, so please check back regularly. If you can't find the answer to your question in the FAQ, then please either submit your question to the FAQ, or contact us on info@igiltd.com. We may include your question (anonymously) on our FAQ if we think the answer will be of interest to other users.

The User Forum was created to:

  • Allow new and existing p:IGI users to discuss the current version of the p:IGI software.
  • Collect together hints and tips on using p:IGI, and for users to share these with other users.
  • Provide an opportunity for new and existing users to suggest and discuss features you would like to appear in future releases of the p:IGI software.


p:IGI users will need to sign up to the forum before they are able to view existing discussions and create new topics. Once subscribed, members can opt to receive e-mail notification of new postings to the forum or a particular topic, or subscribe to RSS feeds.

The User Forum currently contains the following areas:

  • Information for new forum members
  • p:IGI-3 ideas and updates
  • p:IGI+ (announcements and ideas, wishes & suggestions)
  • Technical support (installation help and problems using p:IGI)
  • FAQ (tips & tricks, technical information)
  • Downloads
  • Off topic (general discussions)
