Databasing

IGI is experienced in building and quality assuring geochemical (and geothermal) databases.  Most of our projects commence with the compilation of all relevant geochemical data into a project database using our p:IGI software.  Building on our extensive experience in this area we routinely provide databasing services to our clients, in the following forms:



Single client databasing projects
Compiling and quality assuring a company-wide or regional geochemical database in p:IGI format of all relevant data held by a company.  Most data are typically proprietary, but publicly available data can also be included, depending upon your company's needs.




Multi-client regional geochemical databases
Building regional databases from publicly available geochemical data (e.g. government web sites, public reports, etc.) and providing these on a multi-client basis (see Data Products).

In all cases, the databases are compiled and quality assured using our p:IGI software.  Key well data and sample litho- and/or chronostratigraphy are included as available.  Although databases are generally provided for clients who use our p:IGI software, p:IGI can export data in various text formats for importing into other applications.
