Since its inception more than 25 years ago IGI has produced almost 550 interpretive projects,  and, with expertise built on experience, we recognise the value of solid foundations for any geochemical interpretation study. Whilst geochemical data is available from many sources,  IGI data packages are unique in providing data not only in a fully integrated uniform format (p:IGI), but as part of a complete interpretational package, allowing the user to immediately start interpretation without the laborious procedure usually involved in extracting, compiling and quality assuring data. In our experience, one of the biggest problems facing E&P departments is not where to get hold of more data, but how your team can make more use of the data already available. The use of a quality assured p:IGI database overcomes this obstacle and allows geochemistry to immediately contribute towards prospect risking in real time.

Our databases are built and quality-assured using IGI’s p:IGI software, rapidly becoming the industry standard for compilation and interpretation of petroleum geochemical datasets.  If you have not yet used p:IGI you can get more information here. Our p:IGI-3 dynamic geochemical databasing/interpretation package allows you to add and compare your own data with the pre-loaded data in our data packages. If you have additional data sources (e.g. in-house or proprietary datasets) and prefer to go straight to interpretation without the laborious merging and quality assurance of the datasets, IGI can provide solutions tailored to individual requirements. We can even do the interpretation for you and supply you with both the finished product and database in an all-inclusive package.
