| Since 1983 Integrated Geochemical Interpretation Ltd (IGI) has provided geochemical interpretation services together with associated training courses and software to oil and gas explorationists worldwide. | |
IGI Specialises in sreening, molecular and isotopic geochemistry at basinal, license and prospect scales. These exploration studies often incorperate 1-D 2-D basin modelling, together with source rock volumetrics and risking. In addition to acreage evaluation, IGI undertakes production geochemical studies, defining processes and making predictions at the resevoir scale. |
|
| IGI has developed innovative Windows-based software (currently p:IGI-2) for databasing, quality assuring and interpreting the full range of applied petroleum geochemistry. This interpretation is supported by a intranet manual (igNet), accessed by any web browser, with many hundreds of linked ‘pages’ covering applied organic geochemistry in terms of analysis, interpretation and case studies. | |
| IGI offers tailored training courses in geochemistry and basin modelling at introductory, intermediate and advanced levels. Geochemically related field excursions to source rocks, structures and seeps can also be incorporated. | |
In all of the above, IGI has built up a strong reputation for working in an integrated way with clients, producing geochemical interpretations firmly embedded in the geology of the project area. This ‘white box’ approach also promotes team building and often indirectly meets training objectives in the clients’ company. |
